Racism

So, we are in Walmart and of course, it's not only us 'white people', as my 81-year-old (let's call her Halmoni -it is Korean^^) states, here. There are Mexicans and Asians, yes, but she doesn't have to call them 'brown people' and 'chinks'. That is just wrong! Everyone I know says crap like that as if it is nothing! To me, it is down right rascist!!
I love freaking asians! A little too much, according to my Umma (she's not my mother, but then again she has raised me since birth!). So, since the day my brain began learning this complicated system of letters and syllables, I have began calling my family by Korean terms and even replying in Korean.
It really ticks them off. I am the whitest chick in Oklahoma, in the center of the United States, who is more 1/64 indian and most likely 1/160th Scottish. I am me and not rascist. Why should other people be?
